Buck 317 Trailblazer?

Thanks. Didn't know Camillus was still involved that late in the game.

I do own a Buck 317, it is still NIB many years after I bought it. The only folding hunter type knife I use for cleaning game is the Buck 110 (and on occasion a Case Hammerhead). OH

Thanks for everyone's replies. You're all excellent salesmen. :)

What do you think of this combination? I don't like serrated blades on outdoor knives, but I do like this one that is fully serrated. My favorite kitchen knife is a fully serrated Spyderco, which cuts like a laser. This 317 would certainly give you the option in one package.

This was my knife and of this morning it’s on to it’s new owner. I hope it’s going to a member of this forum.

I'm in the "No, I would not accept it" camp - I have a strong preference for single blade knives; but, when I do carry a two blade, I want them on opposite sides. I have a couple standard pattern trappers, and I've never carried any of them.

gsea, you awaken my memory of who the 317 expert was, namely you. Good Luck getting them all. 300Bucks

I have used the Case version of this knife before and it makes a great deer hunting, deer camp knife. 2 big blades gives you enough to work up a deer or two, and then still have a sharp blade for stuff around camp. I like the Case version, but would prefer the Buck (since I'm a Buck guy)so since I have tried the Case, I would definitely carry and use a Buck 317.
