Buck 419 Kalinga Pro

I'll get the knives before I head to Amelia island in Florida next Saturday. I always put a knife in checked luggage when flying to a meeting. Not a valuable one. This year maybe a spitfire. I hate to be without a pocket knife. Love the once a year meeting.

I wouldn't wait either. Parts were gathered and another run produced. Right on!

I would absolutely love to see buck template the 419 blade and handle profile into a fixed blade version. It handles phenomenally on game in comparison to the larger kalinga pro fixed version. In s30v or s35vn id buy 6 of them

do a search on the big auction site Sold and Completed listings... check the history and that will give you a good idea of market value... good luck! nice knife.

If you're talking the S30V top model 419 Folding Kalinga..........Great knife. Discontinued and too costly to be made again. If you have new in the box the sky is the limit.

You rarely see them on e-Bay anymore at all. I'd say it's getting rare enough that you can ask well above $300 and wait and see what happens.

I have three or four and I will never sell them. They are a precious piece of Buck history.

Display it and let your heirs sell it.

:D
Have you thought of selling one of your 419s

Is there any chance that Buck might make a few more of these? The 419 is a beautiful knife, but I can't see paying "sky is the limit" prices. My bank account has a limit that's much lower. Sorry to bump an old thread, but looking for new info.

I have no connection with Buck. But based on what I have seen, of special run knives they have produced. I would say there is always a chance they might make a small run sometime. I would also say don't hold your breath waiting. If it's a knife you feel you must have, then start saving your pennies, and looking for a deal on the secondary market.

Or just call Buck and talk to someone who actually works there, and might have some inside information.

O.B.
