The answer is yes, or at least it is supposed to be. After you asked, I had to look, and I found my BPS Mastodons have filework on the top, but it appears as though the machine wasn't aligned just right on the bottom, one only has one set of marks and then nothing, and all look a little off. Kinda neat

I was going to start seriously collecting Bucklocks. But then I started realizing that the 532s are too popular and it is not always easy to get a good price. I don't aggressively pursue them now but I will pick them up on occasion. They made a lot of nice ones. I have a decent collection of 531, 532, and 535 but not as much as I initially envisioned. It is funny that the 531 and 535 came first, which is why the 531 and 535 come as Sawbys but the 532 does not.

I bought this 532 (1991 date stamp) a few years ago, and then some time later I found the correct sheath (stamped 532 on the back). The sheath is a bit rough, but it does the job.
