Buck 55

I was just looking at some knives and noticed i have a buck 55 with the Idaho shape year mark on it.It is stamped 055 ,are all of them stamped like that,or are any just stamped 55?

I seem to remember someone told me all Bucks have a three digit number.

I've been Googling images of the Buck 55 on the web. I'm seeing a lot of 'em that don't have the 'leading zero'. Just two digits. And most of those pics are knives with the Idaho stamp. Maybe it's a 'stock pic' of the prototype, and it's turning up on most vendor sites(?). Don't know...
