Buck 560-BT-0

I found a 560 BT-O at a store near where I work and I bought it today. I paid 59.00. Did I do ok on the price or did I pay too much?? I really like the knife btw.

My list of Buck knives is ever increasing. I now have 3 110's, one 880, one 882, one 560 and a 102. I am thinking about going back to the store and buying the other 560 they had. hmmm......

I WOULD say that you did good! I would go buy the other one also.

Yep its nib. They had two one was a display and the other nib. I bought the nib one. The display model didn't look like anyone had touched it. Going by the Buck website, it looks like it was made in 1996. It really feels light compared to a regular 110.

Do a search on ebay! they sell pretty high...
$59.00 aint bad!
Besides if you really like it- must be a good deal!

Did you punch in Buck 560 on ebay just to see what they sell for?
Go in advanced search and check out ended listings too!
Being discontinued I would buy them keep one and use the other? :D
VERY nice knives! Heck ALL Buck knives are nice :D

yes he does ! why every body has one i thought!
jest kidding they are hard to find... and i there are 2 different kinds
one with a powder-coat and one with something else and one is smooth and the other rougher..
 
of course all b/s aside if you wanted to help a fellow out i would buy that second that you say is available
even iof someone had touched it

I just scored a black one on ebay for $113 and figured I'd done really good. At $59 I would buy all they had. They only made about 19,000 of them, ever, and that's a small run.

Were the 19,000 the black ones? Just curious? I've got one with the crystallized finish and one with the regular finish. Sure would like one of the black ones!;)

Dear Dad...

For years I have been mis-guided by a band of over zealous fanatical missionaires. They have kept my locked in my room with only pepperoni pizza, Jack In The Box Tacos, Bud Lite, cable TV, this computer, and small humble collection of Buck knives.

Last night I had a dream, maybe some would call it a "vision", of my past. In this dream I was, in the woods, cutting up some shavings for a fire, cleaning some trout, and cutting rope...all with a 560...while a bear watch me with pride.

When I awoke a few moments ago I looked at my small humble collection of Buck knives and saw that I do not have the black 560 of my dream.

It seems that when they took me from the woods they changed my name in order for me to forget my past.

I will sign this as you may remember me, and use my missionary name to please my hosts.

Wow, bummer about the wife. My wife has been taught (brainwashed) over the past four-five years that these aquisitions of Buck knives are "investments".

Anyway, thanks for the link. I called. How big is that store???? The nice lady put me on hold for about 5 minutes while she checked "both" Buck display cases. No luck. Said the knife department dude was out for chow and "will call me back" :(

man am i in trouble with the wife over bucks > back to you can eat that knife ... because OMG i did not get the credit card summery first!
i am going to have to sell some and give back to budgit if i dont want to eat to eat s30v or 440 steel next week ....
man i hate to do that ...
any one know how it tast with salt and pepper?
