Buck 639 ?

Does anyone here use there 639? I was thinking of leaving it in my camp bag as a back up to my main knife I would carry. There is always someone in our group that does not have a knife :jerkit:. I did not know if there was something about the heat treating or something that would cause failure since they were DCed. It feels like it would make a great camp knife, any thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea to me. I try to let my buddies borrow a knife that I don't mind if they ding it up. The 639 fieldmate is a great knife. I have 5 of them and stash them in each vehicle and the ATV. Of course I have to keep a couple nice for the collection.
