Buck 704

As one of our forum buddies has shown us a really nice 704 in pictures in another thread, I was wondering when Buck stopped making the 704 and the other three members of that family. I looked in the BCCI website and there actually isn't anything on the knife. I'm thinking of giving a 704 to my wife to maybe get her mind off of her "handbags" and "shoes" and stuff...LOL...they take up so darn much closet space ya know...:rolleyes: :D
 
I checked and the last catalogue that shows the 704 is from 2000. 2001 still lists the 703, 705 and 709.
The 2002 catalogue does not show any 700 series...:(

Ha ha...when I was asked , "how many knives do you need?", I walked to the closet and pointed to her shoe rack. Have never been asked again.

I should caution you. You were never asked because she probably accepted your "challenge"....never get into a tit for tat with a woman; i.e., knives for purses, shoes, etc. You will never win. :thumbdn: Before you know it, your home will be overrun with more purses, etc. than she could ever use in a lifetime. :eek:
 
How many knives do you need? Where do they learn that.My wife says the same thing. Do you think they teach that at Wife School?
 
One of my other interests besides Bucks is old tractors (I don't know why, no one in my family has probably ever sat on one before me but my grandfather was a farmer in upstate NY so maybe it's in my blood!). Anyway, there's a guy named Roger Welsch who writes books about tractors that are very funny, he gives alot of information about the secret schools that women attend, it's scary stuff!!!! Fortunately, my wife likes Buck knives so she has never asked that silly question!!
 
:D ...LOL...I almost fell out of my chair today...My wife actually asked when her 704 was gonna get here.:eek: :eek: ...She said she thought it looked like a piece of jewelry and couldn't wait to get it...Go figure huh??...Perhaps a new "BuckNut" in the making ?????:eek: :eek: :rolleyes: :eek:...oh what shall I do??????
