Hello all. I'd like to see what's out there for Buck Alaskan Guide 110's. I have no idea how many different year stamps they have made to date. Any help would very appreciated. Any pics of your AG 110's would help fuel the fire.

These photos are from an old post of mine. i would really like to see what else is out there.

Hi Sudo,
Here are a few stag AG's. (note, the color variations on the blade coating, gloss black vs gun metal gray)

I have two of the rosewoodys and will try to post you a photo of them this weekend. My main 110 EDC is the first AG rosewoody I got and it has the Idaho stamp.

For me ,the ag 110's are top of the list in hunting knives, not much will outdo these knives when the work of feild dressing and skinning/quartering begins. They are some of the nicest knives i've ever used in the feild,i love them.I put a different edge on them for hunting,it lasts a whole season without re-sharpening the edge, just a light stropping is all i do to them in hunting season.

I remember whole seasons when I didn't even have to strop.....but not exactly for the same reason.

We are not all great hunters.

:)

LOL I had some tag soup myself, but i'm always ready to show a new hunter or somebody who has trouble with feild dressing ,how to do it.I think part of me likes using my knives as much as i can,EVEN IF ITS SOMEBODY ELSES' GAME.LOL

Love the Ironwood, M tooth, and Blue Ivory AG's.

Here is the 05 stamped AG. This has been my main EDC for years now and is starting to show some wear

JB,

Those are very well matched stag handles on your two AG's!!! It's pot luck with Buck these days, I've seen one great side and an extremely inferior side (it is why I didn't keep my AG110 Stag). Sometimes I think it's the beancounters making them do that now that sambar stag horn is harder to come by and pricey to boot. The stag knives from the 80's and early 90's were always mint. Being that I'm a bean counter myself, I know exactly how we're all a bunch of pricks especially at the executive corporate levels. :)

Flat, I never thought that about you! JB, I don't see that your 2005 AG is showing some wear. I didn't know they came out that early as well. Thanks, DM

Super knives!! The Ironwood you have RBasil is outstanding and the M Tooth of Daves and the Blue Mammoth Bark AG 110 of Earls are incredible. I'd darn near do anything for an Idaho stamped AG110 like the one jb4570 has and the 2004 Stag model that jb4570 showed really intrigues me as well. The Rosewood models are also outstanding and are a very classy looking knife.
So far I've seen:
2004 Rosewood
2004 Stag (Custom?)
2005 Rosewood
2007 Stag
2008 Stag
2009 Ironwood
2009 Rosewood
2010 Rosewood
???? Mammoth Tooth Custom
???? Blue Mammoth Ivory Bark Custom
Any more out there?? I'd love to see Cabela's and Buck offer a different handle variation every year or every other year.
