Buck At Work

Ya but I think it is called Mark side because that is the side the makers mark is typically put on, not because of the nail nick which is only on folders.
That is what I always thought...I just put TKC's info in there 'cause it was the first I came to.

I think that's backwards Dave.
The Pile side is the reverse side, right side with the knife facing as you describe.
The Left side is the Mark side, obverse side, front side with the knife facing as you describe.
Yes, I had to go back and read it again too. My 334 Trapper would be stamped 'Buck' on the left side and nothing on the pile side, because it's a parts knife. The others that were sold at Smokey Mountain, (looking mostly like mine) With a serial # would be stamped USA on the pile side. For some reason none of the jigged bone models got the USA stamp. DM

bucklife301 bucklife301 , you did very well. Was it from a cutlery outlet or online? That one came through Smokey Mountain, a bonafide model.
A handsome knife. Who tied the lanyard? Look on the backside of your drop point blade and tell me if it has USA stamped on it? Thanks, DM

I got it online I put the lanyard on it it’s easier to pull out of the sheath I carry it in a pancake sheath that makael made for me no it is not stamped USA

I like that leather stamp Makael; understated, but still eye catching and distinctive. OH

bucklife, thanks. Some got that USA stamp some didn't. I don't know why. Still, a nice knife. DM

Thanks I been wanting one since I saw yours I have a Remington with wood handles and a Camillus with bone handle it’s a NKCA knife

I came across a Remington Bullet knife in this Trapper pattern at my last show. It was a handsome knife. A Camillus made Trapper. DM
