Buck Axe?

I was in a store the other day that had a Buck camp axe, sorta similiar to teh Gerber one, only in bright red and yellow.

Anyone use one?

How do they perform?

hi tlc i have a red and a black one never used either but i have used the gerber (worked real good) and they are very similar so i expect they would work great for small jobs

yea unless your blind (for whatever reason)lol and theres a yellow one too but i havent got that one yet but the two i do have should work good they are damn sharp anyways

FWIW I have the Gerber pack ax and think very highly of it.

Thanks kr1, I am planning ot buy a lightweight axe soon and the Gerber was the leader until I saw the Buck, I wish Gerber would do theirs in those bright colored handles!

I'm not sure, with their clsoe likeness to the Fiskars/Gerbers, I would be surprised if they are, that and they sell for under $30.00.
