What blade steels are currently used, and what were previously used steels in Buck's fixed blades? Thanks! ( BTW my apologies if this has been asked before)

The Ron Hood designed Hood, Punk, and Thug are made of 5160. Nice knives, great steel. Also has anybody mentioned 425M yet?
Yes (425M), in post #7. It's funny, I just never even thought of the Hood stuff, guess they just don't seem like a real Buck to me.
Anyway, I'd almost bet that when the OP posted the question, he was thinking of or referring to the classic Buck fixed blades of the 100 series.
I just answered the question, and didn't read into it as to what model/series he was referring to.

Which ones used the 13C26? I haven't been able to find them.
The Vantage Avid used 13c26.
That explains why I couldn't find it. He was asking about fixed blades, not folders so I didn't bother listing the steels that they were offered in.
