Buck/Bond Arms special edition Vantage

They sure do look nice!

2 knives + 2 matching derringers = more money than I want to spend right now.

Maybe a prayer to the powerball god will help.

:):):)

Yeah Buddy, I was sure eyeballin' the derringers myself. Bummer part is, they can't/won't (?) sell to California dealers.

I'm surprised that us left coasters can even buy a pellet gun now days.

I have a confession to make: I was thinking about matching the knives and the derringers, too. I live up the coast where this is possible. I have absolutely no use for the little double barrels, but the knives are another story. Though they sure would look good together.

Maybe I can convince myself that I have female friend(s) that I could gift the guns to for their protection, but then end up giving them chocolates instead and keeping the gun(s) for another occasion. :D

Something like what I did with a 111 classic.

Their design is old, but still potent! Good for some novice when compared to a semi-auto since it's all an action that they must take.

Takes some practice but I don't want two 410 shells in my chest!

That being said, anything that sells more Buck knives warms my darkened soul so I am biased.

Plum- my sympathy for being stuck in such a hole that they won't let you have a weapon that dates to the Civil War. Amazing! Of course, I haven't checked my current hole (ny) so maybe I can't get one here either. The idiots have stolen the tri-cycles and run amuck in both locations.

I don't have any real use for one of them either, but that doesn't mean I don't want one.:D

This one would make a great companion for the Rosewood Vantage.

It,sat. hope you get it. I was born & raised in Bay Area.In 71 I was a paratrooper, and came home for R&R.At the SF Airport,a man spit in my face and I slugged him, almost went to jail if it wasn't for a Security Guard that pleaded with the cops not to take me in.My 1st day home to my small home town of San Lorenzo, the manager at the Bank where I had an account since I was 12,refused to cash my traveler checks that I signed in front of him with all proper ID.He said he didn't have to and told me to leave, then 5 mins later 4 Sheriffs

I hope that Buck decides to come out with optional handles like the Bond but without their name. Just the checkering in a design similar to the Bond. I'm a big fan of nice wood handles (even laminated and such).

Yeah...what he said:thumbup:

I got the two that I ordered in three shipping days after my order went in. Great customer service, so I ordered two more yesterday.

There is a spot on the order form to send comments or ask questions, so I asked why the derringers weren't available in California.

I also have my good old gun nut buddy looking into it too. He has no idea why not as he has a couple of very similar derringers that he bought here.

what a sweet a$$ combo, a Buck and a Bond derringer. i wouldnt get the .410/.45 model tho LOL

Those "Bond Arms" specials look GOOD.

On the topic of Bond Arms, I was VERY tempted to get one of those derringers. Then when I did some reading about them, it seems some calibers are outright PAINFUL to shoot!

A Texas engraver named Otto Carter engraves them and I love the work he does on them.

This was one of my favorite. Check em out: http://www.ottocarter.com/derringers5.htm

At a gun show years ago, I saw a Derringer custom made in 45.70! Now there's something I'd think twice about before pulling the trigger.

Maybe they could do the gander mountain handles as Buck Fourm knives. I would would get a cherry, myself.....300Bucks
