Buck Bravo review

As much as I am impressed with the single grind sharpness of the Alpha Bravo Charlie Mike...as of today, it is being taken out of my EDC rotation and replaced by my 880SP Strider Buck.

Even with all the attributes of the knife (G-10, 154CM Bos, and overall ergonomics), I just couldn't get into the Wedgie tip. Certainly others will find it a tip geometry that will fit their specific needs...but I prefer a spear or Tanto.

I'm supposed to be writing a review. It's a great knife. But I got the wrong one, a combo edge, and had to send it back and wait for the plainedge. Now I've been busy enough that I haven't really used it enough to review it.

I do like the ergonomics, the blade cuts VERY well, it does take some getting used to where the edge is, what to do with that strange tip. It is massively heavy, about as heavy as my ZT 200. More after I actually DO something with it! :)

EB...looking forward to your review :)

As for my 890PE Buck...I've been racking my brain out on what I could use this knife for.

So, today I was starting to prep two racks of ribs for the smoker. The worst part of prepping 'em, for me, has been the removal of the membrane.

I have used several types of knives for this and it's a pain. I have little patience.

The Besh Wedge fit the bill. Perfect tool for the job. The 890 is now outta the box and in da kitchen drawer
