Buck..Bulldog Model-No. 422GB...any info?

Been a busy week here in the house..In the last day Ive gained a New baby girl,Stepfather and several knives..One of those knives was given to me by my new stepfather,it is listed on the box as

BULLDOG
MODEL NO 422GB

Blade bears the Georgia Bulldogs name and mascot..Stamped BUCK 422< U.S.A.

Handles are red FRN(?)with "Bulldogs" molded into one side.

Sheath is Red/Black nylon Bulldog mascot on front.

The knife is a gift and I do not plan on selling it but would like info on it.
Date made?
How many?
Any collectors value?

More knives than you can shake a stick at...Well you could shake a stick at all of em,but yer hand would be REALLY tired.

Now this is going to sound very profound but your knife is what we call a 422 Georgia Bulldogs! The < symbol indicates that it was made around 1986. We made about 1500 of them from 1986 till 1990. They had a sugessted retail of about $32. I would say that they have probably appreciated a little since then but there are quite a few out there.
