Two weeks ago I recived my new knife.
I take the opportunity and express my thanks and appreciations via this forum, to Goose, who went over and beyond,to make it happend!
It is a cabela's 110 with the rosewood handle, beautifull scale that for shure, you can see the quality, right after you just getting out of the box.(I got a Buck, or what!!!)Perfect finish, smooth operation movements,no gaps beetween the bolster and the scales,no any wobbling of the blade.
Right out the box it was sharp, but I touched up with spyderco, and the beast has been unleashed! It's cut like hell!I just slided down carelessly,so it went down on my finger.Result :1cm cut!
From the day I have it,I useing for my cold meals,(salami ,ham, cheese, etc)
I diced 6 kg lamb for stew, today with all other indigriends!Still save off my hair!So I love it!
Goose thanks again!

Well done, Goose, you are a cut above.

Congrats on your new knife, karesz68! May you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.

...Really glad you like the knife karesz it's a good one...Not many better than the goosemeister either...Both knife and the goose are top-notch stuff...:thumbup:

Ahhhh heck, Karoly...you're gonna get our fellow Buck Brothers thinking I am a softee. ;)

I am so glad you like the knife. Like you asked me to, I checked it out before I sent it to you. Like you, when I took it out of the box I was impressed.

The wood is beautiful and absolutely no wobble or play - side to side or up/down. Locks solid and when closed, centers well. I was happy to be able to send you, what I think to be, a perfect 110AG.

Very happy you are happy and putting it to use. Funny, today I used my 110AG to make a cotto salami and swiss cheese sandwich and was wondering how you were liking your knife (and funny that you use your's for lunch too :)).

Thanks for the kind words Karoly and my other Brothers from another mother...
Goose.

Thank you so much for the congrats!
I hope will be able announce the arrival of many other buck knives!
Buck folders forever!

Thanks!
I use a tripod, the macro-zoom feature, natural lighting whenever possible, and I'm very patient.

And I take lots of pictures.

Of course, I let you guys see only the good ones. ;)

I may have asked b4...but what kind of camera/pixel rate do you use?

HP photosmart 735.
3.2MP and 15x zoom.

I would love to get a better camera, but that would cut in to my knife fund. :D

One of the hardest things is managing reflections.
I try not to get too much surrounding stuff reflected on the blade or bolsters....like the camera lens, or my own ugly face.

I can't imagine you taking better pictures with a better camera, Allen. You put every one of those 3.2 million pixels to good use.

I've got a gift card coming in the mail for being a good boy at work. I'm going to pick up a rosewood AG110 at the Scarborough Cabelas here in a couple of weeks. I've got one, but I "need" a user!
