Buck Cabela's ALASKAN Line: What's Your Take?

I think that for the price, around $100, I'd just as soon get the Custom Shop 110 with the S30V blade, and choose between the nickel silver or brass bolsters, and handle material (probably Brass bolsters, with pins, and oak grips, unless Buck would allow me to supply some antique pine, or cedar, or maybe Osage Orange, for it.
 
fish, they may allow you to do that. Doesn't hurt to ask.
Pack Rat, I think a blade of 440C today would run close to 80$. Just my guess. DM
 
I was talking via email to the Custom Shop about putting some different scales on a 113 than is offered standard by the custom shop. I like the one's on the AG series and on the standard 113. They quit dialoging with me so I never got to order my knife. :(
