Hi this is the first thread I write apart from my presentation. Not a reviewIt is a search of feedback. and also the reason to give me high in this forum that read if I was reading, but writing when using translator is more difficult. The smartphone automatically translates reading. The fact is that renia forward to a buck and thank yn friend who buys many online blades acquired a cadet 303. The fact is that the knife came with very poor settings, a sharp really hurts the vista.Se could say buy a razor and half received. The question is, Are they all like this? Is it better to send her back or buck? I have to say that the knife is in Spain and it is very problematic to send out knives. I have pictures but still not very good as them aqui. Those photos are published in a Spanish forum but I prefer moment not put here the link will not be incupla some standard of this community. A greeting and thanks for the answers

It is quite unusual for a Buck knife to be of inferior quality. They have a reputation for being solid, sharp and of high quality.

It is possible you have bad luck and received a faulty one, although the chances are quite small because Buck has great QC in my experience. It is also possible that the Buck you have is a counterfeit.

it is unlikely to be a fake it was purchased in a store with very good reputation but as I don't I had no Buck I can't be safe. in fact not look online price of that cuchillo.lo that we are looking for is that Buck has this store. the worst knife are the afilados.sinceramente seems that made an Apprentice. greetings and thanks for comment

Valen, welcome. Your concern is that the knife did not come sharp? Es tu problema y cuchllio no es agudo? DM

Greetings Val,

Welcome to the Buck forum! I see your issue, it looks like the blade grinds on the small blades were done by a monkey! See if the store where this was bought will allow you to hand pick a good one with proper grind lines. If not you will need to send it back and ask them (Buck) to hand pick a properly ground blade.

Buck is my favorite knife manufacturing company. I have several hundred knives they have made both new knives and old vintage made knives. The Buck knife company hand grinds the edge on their blades so a great knife can be turned into crap by an untrained hand very quickly. The last two 119's I have bought both have grind issues like yours. I am disappointed in Bucks current QC practices. One of the forum members here told me I should not expect to get a good blade grind unless the knife cost me several hundred dollars. I don't agree with that statement and Buck will replace your knife. However, the new knife may have the same poor edge lines!!!!

David.
But that concern is equally sharp consulta¿Estan all? If the buck knives afimativo not interesan.Yo I always thought they were a certain warm and this for me is not. Despite the sharp knife just short. a greeting

John.
Then I think we'd better return it to the store and find other brands that do not have a chance to choose a hand. Send to manufactures from Spain may cost as much as half knife and can come back another same or worse. In addition to the problematic of sending knives in Spain to extranjero.Supongo that will be easier to justify a return of a defective purchase. Sincerely puedecir which is by far the worst knife from my collection of about 150 units. A greeting and thanks for the help

I would think if you were to contact Buck through Email, particularly Mr Hubbard (?) that this may well be resolved to your satisfaction without switching brands.

Dave.

It is unfortunate that you have a knife with the grinds so off like that. However, you could return it to the store from which you bought it, or you could send it to Buck Warranty. You could, however, keep it and resharpen it.

Doc.
The easiest solution for me is to return to the store because it is a refund is easier to not have problems aduanas.Ya friends have told me that in that case there is less problems. But is an unpleasant solution that fits the possibility that vuelba knife to be sold when the knife should never leave me interested fabrica.Tampoco resharpening although podria.Yo buy that hillo cu for collection by having an American classic knife manufacturing greeting americana.Un

I am sad that you did not receive a perfect knife from BUCK. It is a pretty knife. It is a good knife. I hope you have it replaced at no cost and it lasts you a lifetime.

Much to my chagrin from today begin to manage returning the knife to tienda.Solucion I do not like anything for returns to be sold. To no response from the manufacturer in a week to mail sent to department grantia, several days an open subforo moderate manufacturer by a worker thread and before the valuation sent twice the product on their website and have not published I have no choice. Cambiare knife by a product of one of the other manufacturers that store with that if I have good experiences. So the edge legendary half will be returned. That if I'll take some photos and a copy of the bill if any partner of Spain asks me for the Buck quality. Greetings to all.

A pity that Buck did not respond, I understood that after-sales service was great, now I do not know what to think. Fortunately the seller itself has behaved like a professional and you back the amount, although the disappointment and disenchantment with Buck no turning back.
