buck CMKT

Weld, you can't get these from Buck, they have nothing to do with them. You either have to buy direct from CMKT or get one on the forums. Buck spends alot of money fighting stupid Ca. laws as it is, they will not get involved with auto's.
Take a look on the for sale forums.

I hear CMKT burned to the ground and any more conversions won't happen, those with NIB knives probably demand and get premium prices for them,

Dave is correct in that we do not make autos. We are contacting all we see to be sure any ads state that this is an aftermarket opportunity. I can understand why someone would want an automatic 110 but at the same time I hate to get that knife style associated with automatic knives. We have enough trouble trying to keep them from being categorized as a dirk or dagger if you can believe that.

Yep, I can believe it CJ. Some will try to take our second amendment rights away from us at any cost. And since carrying a firearm is no longer a legal option for most of us, the gun-grabbers are targeting the knives that many of our dads carried as children. The Buck 110...The Schrade LB-7...and all the other knives that look like they pose a threat to the left's side of total unarmed society in the USA. Oh, except for the police, of course. (Nothing against the Cops here, and all I've known have been pro-gun.)
But look out, because eventually the police will have to give up the right to bear arms...that right will fall to the military. (Like I said about the LEO's, nothing against the military people here.)
I have heard that the homicide rate is much higher in Russia than it is here. Hey liberals, how can that be? Their guns were all taken away in 1917.

You might try Jim Davis at Sun Valley Knives in Arizona. He has a pretty good selection of autos and was the first one, that I know of, who was offering the CMKT 110s & 112s. His e-mail is jdandy@goodnet.com . His website is www.goodnet.com/~jdandy.

Incidently, I with CJ on this one. We have enough problems here in CA without having to deal with this.

There is already legislation in the works to modify the exemption of one-hand openers from 653K, (Our switchblade law), that Buck worked so hard to get passed a few years ago.

Lately, here, the DOJ has been very agressive in going after dealers who sell autos. There is a mistaken belief that it's legal to sell them to LEOs, Military, etc. in CA. A few dealers have found out the hard way that it isn't. If these guys don't get smart, we're going to lose all of the ground we've gained.
