Funny P-Dave,
I have heard the same type of thought from many folks who got to see some of my collection...."why do you need so many"???? Even my wife said "why do you need so many, you can only use one at a time"!!! I find that to be funny, because I could say the same to her.....you only wear one pair of shoes at a time, right
(I'll keep that thought to myself). Most folks collect some thing or other even if the don't know it.
For years I used to make fun of my father-in-law, he collected silver watch bands. You all, have seen the big wide solid silver bands with big chunks of turquoise stuck on them. I would laugh each time he would show me a new one. You see I did not understand that those bands made him happy and I should have enjoyed that fact with him. Now I see him in me each time I find a new Buck knife I think I need.....LOL. Life is a funny thing, it to short so we should all do what we like as long as it don't hurt anyone else. Like Bucksway once said....I like to "play Barbie Bucks" every now and then.
Like those silver watch bands, I like my Buckknives to be pimped up is some way or other! Most folks think a gold etching or other embellishment to be a waste of a good knife. Again to each his own.
