I don't want to seem like I don't care about what you guys want, because I do. I'd like nothing better than to give you every feature you ever wanted, for free, and make things all fine and dandy.
However, you have to realize that BladeForums.com is not operated without costs. Seriously, there's lots of expenses that go into keeping this site running. We pass several gb of information daily, that's bandwidth. BladeForums.com eats servers like they are candy. That's $5-10,000 a pop - 2 new ones just this year alone, and an average of 1 new one every year we've been open. In 2003 our server hardware bills cost $30,000k and that's just 2003. There's tech support, which isn't free either, and my time and the time the moderators spend here, which I'm sure they'd love to be compensated for.
I keep this website open for information free of charge to the manufacturers, and to posters. The only people charged are sellers, dealers, and people who want extra features. If you guys want extra features, like a Buck collectors forum, it's going to be for paying members only (Gold and above) unless Buck wants to foot the bill for it. I'm sorry, but thems the breaks - if you aren't willing to pony up less than 7 cents a day for the hours you spend on here, it doesn't make me want to bend over backwards.
So, there you have it. If you want a dedicated Buck Collectors forum where you can buy / sell / trade Buck only merchandise, I'll open it; I'll need 40 Gold or higher members stating they want this. If there's that many of you willing to put your money where your mouth is, I'll create the area for you.
