Buck Creek slipjoints?

I keep coming across Buck Creek knives on Ebay and on other web knife sites. Anyone know anything about these? Who make's 'em? Where are they made? Good quality? Value? Which steel?
Any info on Buck Creek would be much appreciated. Thanks.

A search for Buck Creek at eknifeworks.com shows several models for $30 per. Carbon steel. Probably another house brand by the same German company that makes Bulldog, Hen & Rooster, etc.
