I'm considering buying one of these three, I found the Buck CSAR-T for about $100, the ZT 0350 for about $110 and the ZT 0200 for about $130. What are your opinions on these knives, or are there other knives in the $100-$140 price range you would recommend in place of these? I would use these as EDC (I know they're big, but I want a bigger EDC) and I would carry when i'm in the mountains.

I own and use both of these excellent knives and IMO I kind of like the zt200 a bit better this is mainly due to the wonderful ergos and blade profile however I feel that the blade steel used in the CSAR-T (which happens to be Paul bos ats-34) has slightly better edge retention all in all both are great American made knives that will serve you for many years to come.

The ZT0350 carries lighter and is a better EDC but the ZT0200 is a nicer built knife. It just feels better and doesn't have a assisted action. I vote ZT0200.

I am a ZT 0200 fanboy. I think it is awesome, overbuilt, and generally amazing. my recommendation goes to it immediately because i have not had the pleasure of handling either of the other 2 knives. however, i am assuming that steel matters becuase it was in the title, so here goes.

154cm, IMO, if more than fine. it can probably be argued that at least the S30V would hold a better edge, but i find that the 0200 was very adequate for EDC. I have been carrying it with my S60V blur for about the last 5 months, and i alternate between them for cutting tasks. It has not yet needed to be sharpened, but has been just because 2 days ago. in that amount of time it did many every day things, cut a lot of plastic, and went through 4 1/2 inch branches, thinned down the tips, and still had barely lost any sharpness.

TLDR, 154cm will be just fine, S30V will be just fine, have no idea about ats34. recommendation goes to ZT 0200 for quality.

So far it seems that the 0200 is in the forefront with 3 votes for it. I may just have to pick it up soon.

Another vote for the zt 200! IMO one of the best values in knives right now, never have i recevied a knife and immediately felt that it was worth way more than i paid for it! What better feeling can you get than that? (from knives anyway!):D

I have the 350 and the 200..You cant go wrong with either. Both are worth more than I paid for them without a doubt.
