Buck csar-t BLOODY fail? HELL NO

Recently I wanted to try if my new Buck csar-t fixed is capable of cutting a bottle.
So I gathered up some rocks and gravel put it in for weight, filled it 1/5 of the small bottle up.
I was suprised how small the reflections and chips where. Pretty easy to fix.

This knife is though. Approved by me. Lets see what will happen next.:thumbup:

Thanks for sharing. If I plan to do something stupid with a knife for no apparent reason, I know what knife you have approved to do it with.
 
I usually fill the bottle with starting fluid and heat the blade to a dull red.
 
I was planning to put a watermelon on the sidewalk, and trying to chop it in half. Would that knife be a good choice?
 
Although I would never do such a thing with a knife, I wouldn't criticize the OP either.

Here's the way I see it- He bought a knife, he used that knife in a manner that it was never intended for, no lives were put at risk, and the knife was damaged.

The OP didn't blame the manufacturer for the damage, and he didn't call the manufacturer and lie about how the damage occurred to get a replacement. It appears to me that the OP knew it was a silly thing to do, and that he takes full responsibility for the damage.

Personally, as long as people aren't putting others at risk, and as long as they take full responsibility for their actions, I couldn't care less if they want to abuse or destroy their knives, and I can find no reason to criticize them for it.

Considering how many people would, and have, damaged or destroyed a knife through misuse and tried dishonestly to get a free replacement, I give the OP props for taking personal responsibility for his actions. Taking personal responsibility often seems to be a rare thing in this world.

If you want to say something you need to inform yourself first and then post. Otherwise its a sign of stupidity.

I have no problem saying that what the OP did with his knife is not very smart.

There is no reason to give the OP "props" for not being a lying scum bag. That should be expected. No credit for doing what should do anyway.

You sir need to calm down and watch your language. This portion of the website is family friendly. If you don't want to hear other people's opinion of your silly knife destruction then don't post it. And calling us stupid certainly will not help your argument, whatever that might be.

I like a little "wild" every now and then. Too much brains and not enough balls in the world now days. :encouragement:
