Buck CSAR -T

The CSAR-T looked interesting to me but then I noticed it has the same liner lock as the Buck Alpha Hunter 276. I own but don't carry my Alpha because the serrations on the liner lock are very irritating to me. If the CSAR-T lacked that feature I'd have probably bought one by now.

Dear Mr Keys,
I read your post above with interest. However it would seem that Buck are not shipping these items at the moment. Can anyone tell me when they will be shipped to the UK again please? I think this would be a great piece of kit for when I visit my Field Archery Club.

Anybody know when this knife will be available again?

While it shows them as not available on Buck's site, they're very common and very available. Just about any online knife dealer has them, not to mention the auction sites (the most common site has them by the dozens).

I bought the new Tops/Buck CSAR -T and the tool set what a great knife it is and will remain my new EDC

- it is an absolutely fantastic knife / tool - great big thank you to the Buck company for the great ideas

I was wondering what do the people here think of this knife has anyone used it yet ?

Ditto this !!! GREAT KNIFE !!!

This graying thread could use a few more photos IMHO. :)

I would like to see Buck continue to make folding knives in this style. And I mean that they are over built, thick liners, thick blades made with premium materials made in the USA!!. I know the CSAR-T does not get a lot of love, but I would would like to see more from them. I know the have the vantage line, but to me they are lacking the over built part.

I purchased one of these recently. The knife is definitely in a class by itself. A lot of steel went into this one. :)

Got one of these for christmas...was hoping for a small fixed blade but this is a sure pretty knife.

I have the CSAR-T fixed blade. I absolutely LOVE it. Fits my hand perfectly. Balanced perfectly at the choil. I didn't see it coming at all, i just picked one up while at SMKW & as soon as i picked it up---BOOYAA, i had to have it. I want to get a folder as well.

I don't carry mine everyday, but I am really happy with it. I think its a very solid design, and I love the pocketclip/sheath! I carry mine most when I am out in the woods, as we have a 3" max blade length rule at work. :D

We have a "do not ask" and "do not tell" policy!:D

Ive been looking at the fixed blade too. I cant help but wonder if the holes in the blade might weaken it for batoning and such. I know to never pry with a knife, but if im in the woods and need to pry, i would hope the blade wouldnt snap.
