Buck Custom Shop

yeah........this new addition doesnt do much for me. good their adding models. just not excited about 722. so be it.

Lots of colors. It's fun playing around on the website. Maybe I'll make a Zombie Spitfire for Halloween.

I built one, it was 204$... o_Oo_O:p:D

I would like to show you all, but you can't do that. Which would be real nice if you could just download the picture in 1 piece or without the entire site... You can't even print the screen without it being a mess...

I have a photo from the Buck site in the custom screen, but I cannot get it posted.

I built a "Stormtrooper" 722, but $149 is a bit much even with the S35VN Cerakote blade and Cerakote aluminum handle (wish they had white G10 handle option). C+C or SK, please build this one in quantity for a big discount and then sell a couple to me for much less. I already did the hard part and gave it a name.:) wink wink ;);)

Cool that they now offer the 722 in the custom knife shop. I hope they bring other models/options to the custom knife shop as well.

Try the Snipping Tool. Click the Start button and type that in. It will allow you to "cut" a screenshot of what you see on your desktop and save it as a file on your PC.

Funny, I know more guys who would carry a pink knife than ladies that would. The times they are a changing.

Pretty cool custom shop options. More than any other manufacturer I know of,

S35VN
This martensitic stainless steel provides supreme edge retention with a combination of ductility, hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance. For optimal performance, we harden to Rc 59-61.

420HC STEEL
This is Buck's standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Add our exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance we harden to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.

DROP POINT

This blade is full bellied with a strong, thick point for heavier tasks. It can also be used as a general work knife. The top of the blade drops down toward the tip, which minimizes accidental puncturing while skinning. The drop point blade is strong and very versatile.

I guess with these being built to order, would justify the pricing. Hopefully Buck continues down this path. Pretty cool and much more colors and options than I would of guessed.
