I would hope that Buck gives priority to the Custom Shop over the Blade Upgrades...hopefully, your 110 will get BG-42 while the Upgrade Freeze is on...
 
It was just delivered -- beautiful :D The blade steel is BG-42, and I never realized elk horn was so heavy. This is definitely the heaviest 110 I own.

Too nice, now I'll need to get one to carry ;)
 
ya know its a good thing i dont have Joes Job, i would be so tough that
you would have to be a bcci member to get an blade upgrade !

but then maybe if i had Joes Job i might trun in to be a nice guy....
after all it would be a dream job were i could stay late at
work heavly involved in product testing and delvopment....

My "Custom" order just arrived in the mail along with the Newsletter...I couldn't be happier. This knife is far and away the best knife as for fit and finish of any I have received. I wish I knew who the "builder" of this beauty is...:thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Dave, if you were in charge of the shop you would be surronded by SOS, Spam, and Bud Light....while I would have a really cool 110NS Koa with pins.

...Nope...No card in the box goose...Whoever put mine together did a great job...My "card" is in the mail to you too by the way...LMAO...Don't think it'll get to ya by Christmas though...:D :p

I didn't do cards this year. Scooge :(

As for the card in the box, it was a small one and didn't come out of the box when I first dumped out the goods...I noticed it as I was putting the sheath back in the coffin.

...Hey fellas...Thanks for the compliments on the knife but for sure the compliments need to be addressed to Buck and in particular, someone who did the work at Buck...It's unfortunate to admit that I'm probably about as picky as picky can be without having it be a psychosis...LMBO...I was involved in Quality Assurance for too many years where attention to "DETAIL" was requisite of the position, far too long to hope that the "DETAIL" awareness would all just go away...it's still here and it still governs a lot of what I do and own. We've all seen a lot of really great looking knives put out for all of us to see on this forum's pages in the last day or so. Most all of these knives were put out by the "Custom Shoppe" at Buck...The Stag on my new Custom 110 are beautiful as is everything about that knife...GREAT JOB CUSTOM SHOPPE ! ! ! ...:thumbup: :thumbup:

...And when it comes in, we will see whether selections are honored...or whether communication is opened for substitutions...or if the Custom Shoppe just sends out whatever they want to... :rolleyes:

...:eek: :eek: :eek: ...What an amazing coincidence!!!...That is exactly the knife I wanted, back when you bought your second BCCI drop-point 110!!!...[size=-2]You do remember that far back, ummm???[/size]... :rolleyes: ;) :D

It is a handsome knife... :cool:
