Buck D2 hardness and use

This one is from a build out, 118BO-B, from June 2012. The Remer/Stone 118 I posted in the last Sunday Picture Show is D2 and has the tang stamped like Yonose's. Preston

Buck has made several of the 100's in D2 over the years. They made a beautiful stacked leather 102 that I have lusted after for a long time. That 118 would be an incredible user.

I have taken it along on several hunts. I've had no joy in getting to use it on big game. It has done well on small game, birds and fish. Does great on med-rare steak Preston
