Buck & DLT Team up to create the 110 Ultimate Hunter - V2

These will feel like custom shop 110's. Just beautiful knives, and ideal for work even more than display.
 
Love the knife, I've always wondered why Buck waited so long to offer a drop point 110. The inlay I could do without.
 
Buck first offered a drop point 110 in Dec. 2005, so eleven years ago. Then again in 2010 & 2011. These were made up for the Buck Collectors but showed up in on-line auctions. Some others were offered last year. These are all a contract knife. The drop point is not offered in Buck's regular lineup. So, if you want one here's your chance. DM
 
Isn't the drop point available on Buck's website? On the build your own 110 section?
 
Very Nice! I bought 8 of your first run but I am a nickel silver guy over normal brass...I still may get one of these....

The stag BCCI drop points? Oh I have two of those, two of the 112's too. Beautiful knives those are. The drops should have been a regular part of the one up long ago IMO, not trickled out here and there. Never understood their reluctance to do that.
 
I see more of what your saying. You have 'two' of those original drop point offerings in stag, 110 & 112! Then you did very well. O'well, it keeps sales up. DM

Yes it is but only in 420.

That combination with the same wood and sheath would cost you a few dollars more as well and you wouldn't have the special pewter inlay.
 
I got my first Buck, a 112, sometime in the late 80's I believe. So it was a long wait to get a chance at my first drop point Buck and I jumped on it.

I hope everyone appreciates the opportunity they have to get these great knives relatively easily these days. All Buck fans owe folks like Eric at DLT a debt of gratitude for going the extra mile and bringing them to us. Thank you!
 
So true, Blue. We are lucky just to have these options available on a 110 and then to get more options for less than in the custom shop is really great. My Ultimate Hunter is fantastic. Version 2 will compliment it nicely. Thank you Eric.
 
Just ordered mine today, I love buck and dlt trading, a great combination. Will post some pics and thoughts soon.

Fit and finish are great. Razor sharp out of the box. The distressed leather sheath is like butter. The only issue is trying to decide how many more to buy.
