Buck double stamped 119.

well well frankin knife? I belive the fairys and troll killing is how it happened !
I did not see the flea listing but it happens all the time here that some one poses as a collector when in face they are a reseller like a pawn shop... fact of life..
to me the blade looks to thick to be a 124

now it is my thought that if we had GOOD dates of when any buck was sold that we can date the knife to a month and year by the font of the stamp! the stamps don't last too long and buck does get them from different suppliers or the set up on the die maker changes ...
I tried once to sort the different stamps but was over come by fumes from the shed while trying to do that ...

Since this knife looks like they were using a leeetle tiny stamp and a great BEEEG one in the very same time frame.....I is not sure that we could tell much by gazing fondly at the fonts stamped on the knives. :D
