Buck fixed blade Fridays

I got some new matching pants for my 104. My Mesa will take its place in the original sheath. I've come to really like this fixed blade in the short time I've had it.

Gorgeous! Who made the sheath, and what did you put on the Micarta? I like 3 in One oil.

Thanks! I got it from a maker on Etsy. Super affordable. I think this is the third or fourth sheath I have bought from him. I can message you with the details if you're interested.

On the handles, I usually start by treating them with boiled linseed oil. Sometimes tung oil. It seems to retain the color longer. It may take a few applications over time but I find it lasts longer than a lot of oil I have used in the past. I have never tried 3 in 1. I will have to give it a shot.

Yes, please send me the sheath maker - that's my favorite style of sheath and I have a couple knives that could use one.

I've used boiled linseed oil a lot in woodworking but haven't tried it on Micarta. I bet it works great for that - I'll give it a try.
