Here are some more or less good copies of the buck folders I found in the past. But i think, I keep at the Bucks in the future

Best Regards,
Herbert

yeah theres a really nice puma folder for sale at my local knife shop with stag scales but they want $300 aussie dollars for it.

Puma trys to make good knives. Some of them are very good. But their trend is, to make really slim handles. I like them a bit thicker. And also the Pumas are too expesive. You find other german manufacurers, that build also good knives and they do a part of the Pumas. But if you like, may be, that they are cheaper in Germany as Bucks are cheaper in the U.S. If you like, i can try to help you to lower the price.

Best regards,
Herbert

i only have one (copy) of a buck
it is a ja henkles that is very similar to the 110 a nice stag handled knife that is very well made but other than that i am not much for copies or clones i figure for the extra few bucks why not have the authentic

BM10, thats the point: why to buy copies, when I can have the authentic?

Herbert

Sometimes the copies are better...

Haebbie - Some of our Canadian members think the R380S is just as good if not better... ;)

Another good copy is the Remington R-3...

I have one of these, and it is a nice knife...but it is an example of a good idea taken too far...as a single-blade clip-point folder, it is great...but add an extra blade, and it loses quite a bit...(you can't use both blades at once, so the unused blade is always spoiling the grip)...

thanks trax thats a pretty beefy looking blade he uses and i see he has some nice kitchen sets also

WillTheBarb has one of these...maybe he can post a pic with a 110 for comparison...if he reads this...(I could just go open a window and yell, "Hey Will!!!"...he's not all that far away)... :D

I'd like to know how thick the R380S blade is...and what "High-carbon stainless steel" they are using... ;)

Buckman#10 just pointed out that Grohmann also offers it in Turquoise...

Not my thang, but interesting nonetheless...

$$$$ = OUCH!!!!

That reminds me - Scott Hartman had mentioned that his local feed & grain store had the Asian 119 knockoffs for ~$20...I checked my local Central Tractor and Agway stores; no luck... :( (Neither carries Buck either)...

Yeah, but I really like that Grohmann. $$$$
But for the bucks for a Buck, I'm guessing the 110 is at least equal(???)
Don't know what I don't know though...
