It's not like your consuming the mineral oil buy the gallon, most say they use a drop or two in the pivot. Let's be real here.

I think the real question is... is mineral oil better for your health (over the next two hundred years) than Frog Lube, CLP, Hoppes, etc. on a knife that you may use to cut your apple because coconut oil will only work well when above 76 degrees F?
