You can order the standard 120 direct from Buck right now, so I'm going to say no, it's not discontinued.Since this thread has been raised from the dead, I have a related question: Has the 120 really been discontinued (aside from special editions) since 2001? I drew that conclusion from reading this thread, sorry if I misunderstood.
Yes, the 120 disappeared from the catalog after 2001 but it reappeared in 2011. With Buck, not in the catalog does not necessarily discontinued. I have a number of 120's in my Collection from that time period, some special editions, some standard. For sure, some were being sold by Cabela's as Pro-Line models. My memory recalls 200 Cocobolo handled knives were made in 2005. I think the 120's were included in the 2 Klinkhammer series of custom knives.Since this thread has been raised from the dead, I have a related question: Has the 120 really been discontinued (aside from special editions) since 2001? Yup.. the 124 is not in the 2023 catalog but readily available on the Buck website. The catalog lists what is available for dealers to stock/sell.With Buck, not in the catalog does not necessarily discontinued.
