goose i couldnt see where anyone had mentioned pinned
but it might be the way the pommel is attached with a cross pin rather than the older style that had a nut in the end just a guess/bone lol

thats what he was talking about was the crosspin rather than the barrelnut on the end
i figured the flat pommels used barrel nuts but i guess not

hey goose sorry i just got in a little while ago or i could have helped a bit
a buddy just cooked a couple a few days ago for greycup
it only took about 30 mins to heat and 1h10m first bird and 50m second
i only got one turkey on a bun :( so its a good thing i had filled up on beer:thumbup:

You are right about the time to get to temp.
And then I cooked 3 min per pound plus a final of 5 minutes.
Messed up on the gizsards though...cooked 'em too long..beagles loved 'em.

The 120 was great to use. The "carver" sucked.
 
yea the time sounds about right i was watching the drinks not the food:thumbup:
i dont know about gizzards thats just nasty good treat for the pets though
glad the 120 worked good for you i would have thought it would be to thick but good deal
when the buddy was cooking the first bird i got my knife out and grabbed a steel from the host and started tuning getting ready to cut but wouldnt you know it out of 8 guys there one noticed it wasnt a buck :o so my punishment for that was a limit on the food:grumpy: good thing i was watching the drinks:D
