The design has the little "wave" added along the handle, and the jutting lanyard hole, and the front of the handle changed- but still looks like a Strider.
I think it is a blatant case of an unskilled designer or design team tweaking a design until they (or the lawyers) thought it was different enough to avoid legal problems.
When I first saw it, I saw a tiny pic and could not see the tiger stripes. My first thought was, it looked like a Strider.
