Evening folks! I'm thinning out my collection a bit, and rather than selling off knives, I'm going to be giving a couple of them away to one lucky person.

First up, we have a Buck 301 from the Camillus years I believe. I picked this one up a couple months ago, sent it in for a clean up from Buck, and carried it a few times. I decided I'm not a fan of the krinked blades or stockman pattern after all, so it's up for grabs. It's seen some use, but it's still in great shape, and should make a great EDC knife.

Next up, is a Buck 422 that was given to me by a fellow forumite. I wouldn't feel right about selling a knife that's been given to me, so I figure I would pass it on to a fellow Buck lover. This one actually had a pocket clip added to it, which helps make it much more comfortable to carry in the pocket. There's a little side to side play on the blade, but nothing major. It's sharp and ready to be put to more use.

I also have another little mystery prize that I'll throw in with these two.

Now for the rules:

1. This is a photo contest. It can be an old photo, new photo, new knife, old knife, etc...

2. Oh yeah..seeing as how this is the Buck forum, there has to be a Buck knife in the photo. This is required.

3. My girlfriend will be doing the judging. She owns a few knives, but is far from a collector. It probably won't hurt to make the photo look nice.

4. I'll have her judge the photos Saturday night, and post the winner Sunday morning.

5. Post as many photos as you want, as long as they are yours.

Have fun and good luck!

This is of a set I like, the Empress Trio set, showing the 1972 black micarta version and the 1973 maroon micarta version. Enjoy. DM

This one is of Buck's club offerings from a fellow member, a 112 with cow handles and stone wash S30V blade. Which my wife adorned with her scrimshaw work. DM
