I want to know how Herbert got that sparrow to alight on his bird knife

Well, Fritz, I asked the sparrow to come over and sit down on the knife
handle for some minutes. But he only wanted to stand. He took care when
I said that the edge is scary sharp and it is dangerous to stand on the blade.
it needed a while to prepare the camera, but the sparrow waited patiently
and flew away when I already took the picture.
