Buck Hartsook reviews ?

I don't have A Buck Hartsook but I did pick up a Hartsook from Hartsook at the 2007 Blade show in Atlanta. It seems like he said this one was A2 but I'm not sure. I does show a little rust in the image but you can hardly notice it with the naked eye, maybe it's just a stain. I just started keeping this one in the Maxpedition wallet with the lanyard tucked inside. It had been in one of the front pockets of my cargo pants. It stays sharp and it gets used for trimming a cracked fingernail to cutting down cardboard boxes. Great little knife that you can have with you always.

I've had a Hartsook for a couple of years. My most recent use was to pin it to my robe following surgery and a somewhat lengthy recovery.Used it to open get well cards and such.

mhawg: your original Hartsook and the Buck Hartsook look identical except the steel and markings. Thanks for posting the pics.

My Hartsook arrived yesterday. It's a cool little knife. I'm not into neck knives but I'm going with Goosers idea of clipping it to a belt loop. Seems like a handy and practical way to carry it. Here is a pic of the Hartsook with an 880 and folding Kalinga which also arrived yesterday (it was a good day :) )!
Cool beans on both knives Messy

Yep, I am pleasantly surpised at how often I use that Hartsook. VERY handy.
It is my typical Carry du Jour since I got it along with my 110NS SS Damascus Ram in a slanted open top on my JB4570 crafted belt :).

EVERYONE should own one in s30v. For about $20 you can't go wrong !!!

I've carried one on duty everyday for well over a year and a half now. It is used for everything. Better than a SAK. Same sized blade, done by Bos / Buck. It can be stored anywhere. Go buy one
