Buck Hunter 110… Seriously???

Thank you sir. Now that I see the full rifle It is obvious.
I agree, dragging sucks.
When I had time, read that as life was not in the way, to hunt, I preferred open timber or hardwood bottoms. Just something about seeing s nice buck standing among tall straight pine trees or beside a big water oak. Not saying I did not enjoy edges of bean fields but woods hunting worked best for me
Seems to me like with woods hunting I don’t get bored as easily. Sitting watching a field, I have to either be reading a paperback or something on my phone so I’m not fiddling around making movement. I got so bad that I carry a portable phone charger battery pack thing into the woods because if reading on my phone I’ll run it dead way before nightfall. When I still-hunt, or stalk, I’ve heard it called both, I can pay attention no problem.

Agreed. Still hunting you do not have distance on your side like with field watching. Terrain dictates this. Field watching does not require constant attention. Still hunting is more intense to me.

I haven't hunted in the last few years but sneaking then standing then sneaking through the woods in the West Virginia mountains and down here in Florida was the most alive I have ever felt. Seen a Bear's butt at about 40 yards in Florida once..

Great video.
There is a lot of energy in the woods. Trying to outsmart the masters of the stealth game

As much as I like deer hunting, bear hunting with dogs is a lot of fun too. The other hunters estimated his weight at 350-400 pounds. He went maybe 30 foot up the tree. It was in the 90s that night with very high humidity and it was hard for us all to breathe. This was just a dog training run so no bears were killed. Myself and another hunter had Buck 110’s on our belts and the funny thing is we’d never met before that evening. IMG_2651.pngIMG_2648.pngIMG_2652.jpegIMG_2653.jpeg
