buck in france

a friend of mine was in france and he told me of a store he went into that had a few buck knives. do they export to france or did they pick them up off the web?

I know I've read here that in 2002 (IIRC), the anvil only appeared on US knives; the "exports" had the little glyphic that Buck used for that year...

TLC (or whatever name he's using this week ) had the "glyphics" in one of his posts, with "export" noted...

So it could very well be a French dealer in Bucks...
