I cannot think Strider is much more tough than Interpid.
Buck is much more inexpensive.
In Japan, it is great advertisment of Strider. But no magazine talk about Interpid.

Both these knives are very strong, but the "Large" Intrepid is almost twice as thick as the "small".

Well the 420 steel on the Intrepid isn't the best choice outside of a maritime enviroment.

I'm still hoping Buck will make a production Strider fixed blade in ATS-34.
