Buck Ivory 110/112 Nickle or Brass bolsters ?

I would say that it depends on what the scales are made of. I like brass with wood scales and nickel silver for everything else.

Here are some with brass. From top to bottom; Standard 110 w/ ironwood scales and S30V steel, Custom BG-42 110 w/ KOA Flamewood scales, Custom 110 w/ Polished blade and cherrywood scales.

Here are some with nickel silver. From top to bottom; SMKW Buffalo 110, Liner Lock 110, Custom BG-42 110 w/ stag and a BCCI Fundraiser Honey Bone Scales & S30V blade

Clearly there is only one solution to this dilemma:

Get two of each knife (when possible), one with brass and one with nickel silver.

Simple!

Evil Eye,
That is a fine collection you have there. Seeing those ivory scales make me want one! Those elephant ivory scales would make a fine canvas for some scrimshaw. Imagine that damascus one with engraved bolsters and scrim on the scales.

I almost always prefer NS but the brass on that 110 sure compliments the beauty of that Ivory. Nice set, all of them!
