Buck Knife/hatchet combo

This is the first one i've seen too, it's on flea bay and the bid is over $900.00

Hmmmm! I thought sure Joe would bid on it...Don't see his handle in the bidders, though...

"Lifetime"...Bwahahahaha!!! Bet there'll be a lot of blank looks when that shows up at Buck for sharpening/refinishing!!! :D

...P.T.Barnum was right!... ;)

Ebay is now hidding the bidders usernames so you can't tell who's bidding, but when the auction is over ebay shows the winning bidders username only

They do seem to show the first and last initials and the number of feedbacks...if you have an idea who it is (like knot2sharp or some such username) you can figure out who it is... :D

naw ... a seller i bought from before emailed me and asked if i knew so&so as he was the high bidder and was he good for pay ment... i said yes and he won ...
but there was no match on the lettering to name at all...
they say it is because of fake 2ed chance offers but it is not ..
i feel it encurages ringers and bid running read - shilling!!!
i dont know why ebay jest dont say it is a rellly like a sealed bid..
many sites have extra 60 sec added on if a bid comes in at 15 sec to end of listing

One of the blade auctions adds 15 minutes to the auction if the bids all come in in the last few minutes...good idea, I think...:thumbup:

That combo looks to be in the wrong sheath. All the sets I have seen have BUCK on the sheath somewhere and the one time the seller did respond to my questions, he/she told me it was not stamped. I have never seen one with a stone pouch either so I am convinced it is the wrong sheath.
Regardless, I might still have to buy it!!! I have one in lignum vitae, rosewood, and lucite, but not elk. But thats a LOT of $$$!!!:eek:
I'm not going to bid...I'm not, I'm not!!!! My wife is going to use it to skin my hide!

Joe,if she is going to use it does that meam your going to, ah, get it ???????????????

You guys crack me up! :o:D
To be honest, I still have not decided if I will bid on it again or not. And as long as I am being honest, my wife never gives me any grief when i bring home another old Buck, unless it is the kind that has horns and hangs under the porch till I can butcher it. :foot:
She still calls my knife collection "Her collection", and I'm not argueing!:D

I'm sure it has nothing to do with her maiden name :p:D:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
