Buck knife in new movie?

I saw the movie "Insomnia" starring Al Pacino and Robin Williams, and several times during the movie, Pacino pulls out and uses what looks to be a 503(?) lock back knife.

I saw the movie at a drive in with my wife last week. No reflection on the movie, but i was violently awakened at least one time by my wife saying, " that was a Buck knife, I saw a Buck knife!!!" By the time my eyes adjusted the scene had changed so I could not verify the accuracy. She does know her knives though so you never know.
 
Hmmmm...I don't remember any of the movies when I went to the drive-in...must have fallen asleep just like Joe. ;)
 
I just got back from seeing the flick. A really good movie with a fair bit of incidental knife content - all Buck as far as I could tell. In a movie with its share of harsh content, nice to see a knife used over and over again as a tool, never a weapon. That's got to help public perception of us knife knuts! But what the heck was Pacino thinking, using his pocketknife as a screwdriver!? :D
 
Ok, now you have my curiosity up. I have to see the movie again, this time with my eyes open!

I also winced every time Pacino used the blade as a screwdriver. He did that a couple times in the movie (out of maybe a half dozen or so times he used the knife) and the screwing never broke the tip!

At this point, I have to confess, one of the reasons I went to see the movie in the first place is because I had a feeling there would be knife content (not necessarily as a weapon). A lot of the suspense or intrigue movies are good places to spot familiar knives.

Which movies have the 110 and/or Special/General/Frontiersman in it. Should be a whole bunch of movies! :D These are 2 that I remember...

Exposure - Frontiersman
Scream - General
 
Kill Bill also features a Buck knife, 112 I believe.

FYI,

The new Punisher movie features Strider Knives prominently in his arsenal.

I was just watching X-men (home with the flu today) and noticed the thug in the bar that wants his money back from Wolverine pulls a 110 on him.
