Buck Knife Vantage 0346RWS1

Nice to see others have the same problem as I do when it comes to Vantages. Carrying a 845 today.

Today it is the 846 for me. I love the Sandvik blade and the aluminum scales, perfect weight and size for whatever may come down the pike.
 
I received my Black Ash and Redwood, Bond Arms Vantages this week and I wanted to pass along that they now come in s30v as opposed to the 13c26 Sandvik.

Hey Shack, what do you think of that version? I always thought about getting one, but I never really heard anyone talk about it....

I like it a lot! I like S30V steel and the Titanium-nitride coating is tough and attractive. I think it's a really good knife!

I'll try to run by and see, hey aren't on the website. Someone else posted another pic on FB of one, from another store. Has Buck said anything about them???

So I got a reply from Buck... here are the details,

Thanks for your email. This was for a project for Rural King based out of the Midwest in Fall 2017. It is a 420HC black oxide blade, standard rosewood dymalux handle and we did a pewter medallion.

I’m not sure what Rural King sold the knives for, or if they were for a promotion.
