some of us out bid each other all the time!!

btw : i was told once if you argue with a fool who can tell the difference..
you dont have to ignore him..
and it is ok to respond to him, lord knows i do , and his narrow view
as with when i learned that some one i had a bad falling out with with could show up at a show
it caused me a lot of thought and
what a friend said of it also caused me a lot of thought ..
if he decides to join the bcci his name will show up in the member ship
and some will make the connection !
if he shows up at a show like atlanta it is likely he will give his self away
so if he chooses to argue like his id will never be discovered
let him...
me every one knows who i am and what i look like ..
and if i offend some one most times i apologize if i handled it wrong
i hope to meet 42 some day ... he can be ... stimulating..
but ... who knows ...
we all should discuss things here in the tone that we may well meet
F2F at a show some day!!!
as i say it is ok to disagree with a friend and a friend can forgive you

I do agree with you though, Dave.

Some folks here are very, very quick to take offense and get nasty.

One would think that among their collections of knives that one mysteriously got stuck up their butt.

Apparently you are talking into a mirror otherwise this statement doesnt make a lick of sense..........Well nothing new under the sun. You feel you are a god or a mod or both

wow i used to be a real high jump to conclusions king!!
and cut no one any slack ....tell i wore out my knee landing wrong!

then i started drinking from a less potent (and cheaper) jar
and the world seemed better !
at least with the new glasses and hearing aid!!!:p
 
So I guess that as the moderator its my job to come up with something clever/nice/pc in an attempt to get us all back on the topic that brings us here in the first place....knives. Well I got nothing so please, guys, lets play nice ok?
Wait, I have a thought hatching here...
If were going to "assume" anything about anybody, lets assume the positive. I used to assume that guys that sounded harsh on the forums were probably jerks. Then I met some of them and felt like the real jerk for feeling that way. I know I wont agree with everybody here on every topic so when someone floats an opinion by that I dont agree with, I just dont respond. Why get into a contest unless you like that sort of thing?
So since this thread has strayed way off topic, I think we better close 'er down. Besides, I really hate to see a bunch of great guys griping at each other.
