Maybe you could offer them to sell them to us first?? ;)

Jim...
Do you think the s30v Kalinga will be a user?
Jeff
You didn't ask me, but mine will be.

==================================================

...What a surprise. All I can say is "Thanks bud" and paybacks are hell so standby for incoming when you're least expecting it! :D
Hey Mike...
Hope you like it.
Small token for a man that has served his country and community all his life. Add to that, your kindness here demonstrated by your patient replies to my posts and sending me something w/o my asking (and that something being a two dot 112!!!)...a hat doesn't seem nearly enough. Just wanted you to know I appreciate you :)

Hey Goose ....

I did not mean to leave you out in the s30v Kalinga question.
I don't have one but I have lusted after my Squirrel hunting buddys.
He used his for Elk hunting back in the 1980.What I really want
is one like his old kalinga with the black marcita grips. They have been
going for over 125.00 on the bay thing so I will be wating a while.
I hope that you enjoy yours.
Jeff

Glad you guys are liking what is offered. We have delayed updating the website as it is no sense getting you guys all lathered up and not have the new knives available in retail yet. We will update the website in about a month.

That kalinga, all 4 versions, will be users. They feel good, better balanced then the alphas, but having the same great action with the bronze washers. I really like the way the blade drops instead of coming straight from the handle...really a good working angle for skinning.

I am also proud to hear the Gen 5 making the lists...proud papa talking...if it gets enough support it will make the line next year in work knife form.

Just messing with ya Jeff. One can't possibly include everyone in a post. I was just chiming in that mine will be a user too.

While I really like the Kalinga FB...I will get that and the folder...the folder will get more use. Well, only if this 110 BuffCote ever wears out.

CJ, Joe,

is it possible to get the new catalog in Germany? Be it as the paper version or as a pdf by eMail? The manufacturers agent ob Buck in Germany, Herbertz, doesn't put them out.

I would be very glad to get the Catalog. I'm not able to join in a conversation about the knife news before I've seen the pics of the knives at the least.

Best regards,
Herbert

haebbie you have mail :)

One day I see CJ's son Josh in the shop working on some knives for the engineering department. I tell him that I have a knife in my collection made by his great great grandfather Hoyt, one from his great gradfather Al, his grandfather Chuck, Chuck's brother Frank, his dad CJ, and now I need one from his generation. Josh gives me a look that says, "don't hold your breath pal!"
So I tell him, "Don't make me ask your sister". Sarah has been working at Buck for a few years now and is Josh's older sis.
Josh gets a smile on his face after hearing that threat and the next day he is showing me a drawing of what eventually becomes the G5.
This kid is fired up and has another design in the works. He's a natural!

Oh......I can't wait. I've got 4 of the 07's on order. I still want a few more of them....Buck has out done themselves this year ;).

Does anyone know when the catalouge goes public? The Australian distributer listed on Bucks site knows nothing about it. Then again not to many people even know the Buck brand over here. Thanks for your help.
