Buck knives everyone should own ?

A 102... Is a great small fixed blade to have.... and a 422 Bucklite...:thumbup::thumbup:

I own a few Bucks and my favorites are the ErgoHunter Pro (S30V) and my Alpha Dorato (154CM Paul boss). I like the rosewood, are a great value and the Dorato makes a good pocket knife. Really sharp and great sheaths..... Here are some pics...

The Akonua is my all time favorite hunting knife, it just about has everything right . Then a 110 with a drop point blade and a Duke for in town/ walk in the park carry . These are really enough knives for hunting, fishing and EDC . What I'd add is a kitchen set which will really see a lot of use, like the Empress Trio or Buck's Stream Mate series or the current Kitchen set . The only other item one would need is a Buck saw and a good sharpener . Other items I personally would give some thought to is a dress folder, serrated pruning knife and shears as these are very useful . Just me . DM

In my opinion, no collection of users would be complete with out a 500 and a 532.

That 532 (bottom knife), Bucklock, is stunning. It resembles my idea of the perfect folder (nine inches, OA, would be closer to perfection IMHO). Backlock, pointy, plenty of belly. Beautiful and photographed to a t.

My two favorites and I EDC them regularly are the folding Buck Kalinga and the 111.

I have a 532 Camel bone that buck had on there site for $100. I love the look of that knife. I need to get a hold of a 500 too.

Here's my list from ones I own.

Must haves
110, 103, 119, 303

Should haves
112, 301

These knives have proven themselves.

Recent purchases that I really like that still need to prove themselves
Vantage Pro, Rush 154CM, Paradigm Pro
I will decide about these in ten years or so.

I have never held a Buck I did not like! But if I had to have just a few It would be a 422/112 drop point, a 118 in D2 and Last but NOT least a 651 Pig Stic***........I gave my brother mine [651] and now I will have to get a new one...

I guess anything hand made by Hoyt Buck or Al Buck should qualify as a "must own". Getting your hands on one is the catch.
