Buck Knives

I've never had a problem with 110s, or any Buck product for that matter. The fit and finish on the half dozen I've bought is extraordinary considering the cost. One of the best bangs for the Buck around (sorry...:D).

I got a Buck 119 a few months ago and it was perfect out of box. Only other Buck I have isn't a production run, it's a 110 from their Custom shop, so I can't comment on their folders...certainly have no problems with their customs though!

Only Buck I have is a 110 converted to automatic by Cumberland Mountain Knife and Tool. Since all they did was make an auto out of it, the fit-and-finish of everything else is just okay. Nothing to write home about, but still a nice usable knife.

I'm curious why competition is being used as an excuse for the production of an inferior product?

It should be the exact opposite.

It's the same 3.25 inch blade.

Ah. Then you have the Vantage Force Pro as well. The Vantage Pro is a bit smaller per Buck at 2 5/8". Two distinct knives in the same line. Admittedly, the naming protocol on this line can get confusing with the various available sizes and blade combinations. ;)

Force indicates the knife's size (3.25")
Pro indicates the knife's blade (S30V)

My mistake. I did leave out "Force" in my description. I do indeed have the Vantage Force Pro.
