Like other "Sportsman" or collector symbols, that's an obvious tip-off to people who will follow you home and then come to your house when you're gone and relieve you of a lot of your cherished stuff.

Of course, if you keep all your stuff in a big, heavy safe and have a security system, you'll be ok.

;)

ITE I would not mind a license plate like that, I would just have to convince my wife that her favorite license plate on the car now would have to come off the car.   No way will that happen. ;) :D :D HL

Tell her you're going to have to buy a truck to put your Buck plate on......you probably need one anyhow, right?

:D

We have to run two plates here in VA but I'd love a Buck or BCCI license plate frame.

So, you need a truck......

This Buck knife collecting really gets expensive.

:)

In the perfect world I would want one, I will have to consider the security issue before making statement. Maybe one fixed up so only Buck people would understand what it meant......anyone have any ideas.....300

When you go hunting, others hunters see your guns... ... When you go to a coin shop or a Bank, others see leave... ... When you set up at a Big Knife Show, everyone sees your Bucks... ... So what should we do??? ...:confused::eek: ...

It's a matter of using reasonable care.

Advertising on your car probably goes beyond that, since you drive your car everywhere and a lot of people see it.

I just stay home with my weapons close at hand.

:D :D :D

You got to do, what you got to do... My brother had to take someone out... ... I guess that's life or loss of life...

Those plates were purchased by the late Paul Lentz around 1999-2000 and given to Buck displayers and BCCI club members at the Blade Show and other regional shows. He may have sold a few but knowing Paul, most were probably given away. Sadly, Paul passed away in July of 2001. The BCCI now has an annual award in Paul's name to help us remember what he meant to the club and to honor members whose contributions to the club's success are especially noteworthy.

I don't doubt at all that one of these could be affixed to the front of a vehicle.

Subtle, yet elegant.

Thanks Larry, for the info about the plates... ITE

I can see where that would go with a knife display. Still if we start worrying about what pepole see on our cars and desireing them, what about what we wear, and use everyday? How many of us like to carry and use a really nice Buck knife? Stop and think about it, if you are worried about a license plate. Then are you going to quit carrying your favorite Buck knife? Makes one wonder about some pepole at times. HL ;) :)
